Workout Wednesday: Turbulence Training with Dumbbells

Here’s a super awesome workout for you. It’s based off the version of interval training called Turbulence Training- created by former athlete and exercise physiology researcher Craig Ballantyne. The idea being that you mix high weight strength training and cardio to create a super fat busting, muscle building interval workout. The workout follows a simple formula of 8 high weight reps followed by 1-2 minutes of high intensity cardio. For my workout, I give you 1 minute to complete your 8 reps, any extra time is yours to catch your breath. Trust me you’ll need it. 🙂 Then follow that with 1 minute of super high cardio. You’ll be dripping in sweat, muscles burning, and feeling amazing.
