Top 5: Do Anywhere Cardio Moves

Hello all! Happy Friday!


We’ve all been there. You want to do some cardio, but don’t have 30-60 minutes to crank out your typical moderate intensity run/bike/swim. Plus, you’re kid is napping so you can’t go anywhere and you don’t want to make a lot of noise. What’s a person to do? Crank out some kick a** bodyweight cardio moves of course! Here are my Top 5: Do Anywhere Cardio Moves! You don’t need any more space than a yoga mat and absolutely no equipment to get your sweat on.

Top 5- Do Anywhere Cardio Moves

1. Mountain Climbers

An amazing arm, ab, and leg exercise that really cranks your heart rate up! Make sure to keep a great plank position with your shoulders over your wrists.

2. Jumping Jacks

An oldie but a goodie. And for a “jumping” jack, it’s relatively easy on the knees.

3. Burpees

Ahhh burpees. You either love ’em or hate ’em, but no one can deny that they are a quick way to burn some calories!

4. Fast Feet

 Find your inner football player and move your feet as quickly as possible. If you are blessed with a few more feet of room- try going side to side or front to back.

5. Skiers

A side lunge with a hop. Great for working those glutes! With this move we are looking for speed, so if you can’t reach all the way to the ground that’s ok, just keep it moving.

Need some inspiration? Try these moves Tabata style! 20 sec on, 10 sec off. Do each exercise 4 times. That equals 10 minutes and you’re done!
